Corpus Christi: An excellent destination to spend your summer

Summer vacations offer us the opportunity to visit different places to have fun, learn and spend memorable moments. Corpus Christi offers places that every member of your family will enjoy. One of its biggest touristic attraction is the recently expanded, Texas State Aquarium. In this Aquarium you can find a new attraction named Caribbean Journey, which takes you under water so you can appreciate sharks in their natural environment. In addition you can see the beautiful flamingos and the popular sloths.

Another attraction you will find in Corpus Christi is the USS Lexington and the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center. The USS Lexington offers you history and learning on its tour through this marvelous ship that today is anchored in this city to share its stories and anecdotes.

And with miles and miles of beaches there are always fish to catch, waves to surf and sand to build a beautiful sand castle with your family or friends.

In July, come and celebrate the Big Bang Celebration on July 4th at the Water’s Edge Park at downtown with a parade, family fun, music and entertainment. There will also be a Harbor Lights Lightshow and fireworks.
