Denim & Diamonds: La Plaza Mall takes fashion to CDMX

On July 26th, 2018 was held the great event Denim & Diamonds at the beautiful Mexico City, with the objective of promoting the city of McAllen among important corporations, travel agencies, communication means and general public.

At the exclusive hotel Fiesta Americana Chapultepec gathered Jim Darling representing the city of McAllen; Dieter Holtz Wedde, CEO of Aeromar; Roberto Luciano, general manager of La Plaza Mall; among other personalities that promoted the attractions McAllen offers such as hotels, restaurants, events, training, commerce and fashion stores.

As part of the event La Plaza Mall organized a Fashion Show in which were presented outfits from well-known department stores, such as Macy’s and Dillard’s.  In addition, different organizations and companies that attended the event entertained the attendees sharing prizes; promotional items and valuable information, achieving the objective of continue promoting the tourism, growth and development of the city of McAllen.

Attendees could know in detail all the novelties the city of McAllen has, such as La Plaza Mall expansion, many flight options offered by the McAllen Airport, the new McAllen Performing Arts, the already traditional Christmas Parade, terrestrial connectivity offered by the different transportation systems, in addition of hotels and first level restaurants, among others.

The organizers of this event are La Plaza Mall, McAllen International Airport, Visit McAllen and Aeromar.  Other important collaborators are hoteles Cambria, Radisson, Double Tree, in addition of Explore McAllen, Parques y Recreaciones, Rio Grande Regional Hospital, Tourism Bureau, among others.

Likewise the DeShopping in Texas Magazine accomplished the objective of promoting the Texas Valley and its attractions in Mexico.

The team of more than 40 people that visited Mexico City achieved a resounding success by promoting and encourages McAllen among 150 attendees to the event.  We congratulate all those that make this great event possible!
