Nuri means fire in Hebrew and the restaurant was born as a dream and began as a foodtruck in 17 street then they opened their first subsidiary. At this place it is sought to have a fusion of Mexican and Korean food, this is achieved by mixing flavors, Korean ingredients such as kimchi combining it with Mexican dishes, the restaurant is always looking for new flavor fusions therefore they will not always be a fusion of these two cuisines. Each dish is inspired in some place, but with a touch, only they have.
Among their dishes, you can find rice bowls, buns, kimchi potatoes, quesadillas and their famous tacos, the favorite is without doubt is Nuri Taco you have to taste this, it is made from cecina, choriqueso, grilled onions, coriander, tomatillo sauce and the best of all, all their tacos are made with freshly made tortillas!
Regarding their beverages you can find sodas and a great variety of beers, the most popular is hitachino beer, which is from Japan and it is the only restaurant where you can find a complete selection. Soon they will have cocktails with sake a very popular beverage in Japan; all these will be with Nuri original recopies.
Their promotions and special events have all day happy hour on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays where they discount 1.75 USD in draft beers and 1 USD on bottle beer. They also have brunch on Sundays where you can find barbacoa, French toast, combination of chicken and waffles and much more.
