Mission TX, has been characterized by being the home of red grapefruit for its historic cultivation of citrus.
For this reason, since 1932, year after year it has been celebrated with great pride, in a festival called Texas Citrus Fiesta which lasts a little more than a week. This is not only the celebration of a tradition, but something much bigger, a beauty contest where a citrus king and a citrian queen are crowned, a parade through the center of the city, a fair full of fun where you can enjoy folk dances, live music and much more.
This year it will take place from January 19 to 26 at Leo Pena Placita Park, 10 a.m. at 10 p.m.
If you have not been part of this great party yet, attend its 82nd festival and enjoy everything it has to offer.
