Texas Onion Fest 2019.


Texas Onion Fest has celebrated the development of the world famous Texas 1015 Onion for the past 30 years, which was developed in Weslaco.  The name came from its first seedtime date, October 15.

This year the Texas Onion Fest will take place on March 23 from 10 am to 9 pm in Mayor Pablo G. Pena Park where live entertainment will be included in two scenarios, the exciting Eating Onions Contest, delicious food, commercial stands, children walks, two acts of Horses Dancing at Charro Arena, 1015 Market, Car Show, cuisine demonstrations in the Culinary Center and much more!
