There is a secret garden in Rio Grande Valley’s heart, which houses a great variety of native plants and animals in the area. It is The Valley Nature Center, the oldest natural center in Texas Valley located in Weslaco. This place is one of the main destinations for birds and butterflies observation, where through its walking trails butterflies like malachite or pixie can be seen, as well as hummingbirds, turtles, cottontail rabbits, lizards, and amphibians.
Get out of routine and enjoy this place Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm.
