This June 8th the 80’s will arrive in Weslaco with 80’s Retro Glow Run, an annual 5k race organized by Snapix in benefit of Aurora House Foundation, a foundation where they take care and provide medical attention to people diagnosed with a terminal disease.
In this 2 in 1 event you can enjoy two races: 1 mile for children and another 5K for adults. The event will have an 80’s theme therefore pictures, neon paint, DJ, Zumba and more, will be inspired in this time in addition of participants will be able to dress an 80’s theme clothing. The career will begin at 6:00 pm with a costume contest, then at 6:30 pm will begin the 1 mile race and it will be finishing with the 5k race as of 7:00 pm.
The event will take place at the Mayor Pablo Pena Park and costs are of 20.00 USD for the 1 mile race and 25 USD for the 5K.
