Robatayaki is the Japanese kitchen that uses as the main method of cooking on carbon. Unlike the American grill, this uses special Japanese cardboard, which raises to a temperature of more than 1900 grades Fahrenheit and lasts 4 hours. Likewise, not only meat is cooked on it, but also seafood.
With the idea of offering something different than kumori, they introduced their last creation, which is Mori, a Japanese restaurant specially dedicated to Robatayaki style kitchen. Mori, allude to the Valley and is taken from the name kumori the last two syllables of the name.
This new concept is unique in the Texas Valley and the second one in the entire State. On it you can find different dishes on the menu and many options, starting for their rob bar where they offer scallops, clams, king carb, among others; there is also the part of their sushi bar where they have sashimi, rolls, on their kitchen they have kinds of rice, salads, tempura, the desserts area and the main is the Robatajaki where they have meat and seafood on the grill. Likewise, they will have great quality dishes such as fresh wasabi, which is of different quality than the powder, fishes like Bluefin and oraki salmon, as well as three types of much appreciated Japanese meat, as well as American way, which is a cross between American and Japanese cattle, which is very soft and with a lot of taste.
Although for its style it could be considered a fine dining style restaurant for its decoration and the area, prices are accessible and it has a big range of options on its menu, you can choose between many dishes.
Besides as part of the concept it will offer dinner at their dining room called Omakase, it is a special dinner used in Japan, which means on the chef’s hands. On it, they give to taste from 6 to 7 different dishes besides wines and the famous Japanese drink sake. A culinary experience you have to live!
